Free Photo Class: Mastering Manual Mode Workshop

This class is going to be 90% workshop, hands-on with several set ups for you to practice with your camera or ours. 

Special Guest Instructor, Ludwig Keck will join the Tytan team and take us through the step-by-step process of mastering manual mode in real world practice. 

We will bring models and props for you to work with and we welcome you to participate both behind and in front of the camera.This is going to be another super fun interactive session. Learn from our special guest, a 70+ year veteran and true Master who is absolutely passionate about photography.

The class is open and free to Peachtree Corners residents or anyone who is employed in the city.

  • Camera – Laptop Requirements:  Not required but welcome

Who should come:  Anyone interested in learning to produce incredible finished images for art, business or personal satisfaction.

Please plan on arriving 10 minutes before the class starts to ensure a good seat — and to avoid interrupting the class once it starts.

Town Center Grand Opening Set For Saturday, April 27

Town Center at Peachtree Corners

It’s been a long time coming – but the day to celebrate the completion of the city’s Town Center is upon us. On Saturday, April 27, the afternoon will be filled with fun activities, music, food and more as we revel in the culmination of years of planning, designing and constructing of our Town Center.

The Grand Opening of the all-new Town Green at Town Center on Saturday, April 27th from 4 pm – 9 pm.  Admission is FREE to enjoy the grand opening parade, DJ, strolling performers and a variety of food vendors. Fans can also visit one of the many restaurants located within the Town Center and bring food to the Town Green. 

The event finale is a concert featuring Atlanta Rhythm Section!  With 15 albums of outstanding performances and songwriting to their name, the Atlanta Rhythm Section has been a staple on the Southern Rock scene for more than 50 years. With hits such as “So Into You,” “Champagne Jam,” “Imaginary Lover,” “Homesick” and “Spooky” this show won’t disappoint!

The all new Town Green is located off Peachtree Parkway directly across from the Forum in the Town Center shopping center at 5140 Town Center Blvd.

GETTING THERE

Park and Walk

Park in the parking areas off Davinci Court off Peachtree Corners Circle (3720 Davinci Ct, 3715 Davinci Ct or 2745 Davinci Ct). You’ll cross Peachtree Corners Circle and access the Town Green via a path – look for the signs!

Park and Ride

A FREE shuttle is available for guests who park in the parking lots off Triangle Parkway and Metric Place. (5400 Triangle Pkwy, 5430 Metric Pl, 4725 Peachtree Corners Cr, 5390 Triangle Pkwy). The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the corner of Triangle Pkwy and Metric Pl, in front of 5400 Triangle Pkwy. Free shuttles to and from the Town Green will run from 4:00pm to 12:30am.

Ride Share

We strongly encourage the use of Ride Share for the event. Ride share drop off and pick up location is The Piedmont Bank, 5100 Peachtree Parkway.

Prohibited Items

For the safety and convenience of all guests the following items are prohibited on the Town Green for the Grand Opening Event

  • Glass Containers
  • Fires or Barbeque Grills
  • Weapons or Firearms
  • No prior claiming of lawn spots with personal items is allowed in advance of concerts or events
  • Hard Sided or Large Coolers
  • Large or oversized bags/back packs, luggage, or duffel bags
  • Fireworks or Sparklers
  • Smoking, Vaping or use of any tobacco products
  • Illegal Substance or Drugs
  • Pets or Animals with the exception of service animals
  • Flying Objects including but not limited to: Sports Balls, Flying Discs, Beach Balls, or Drones
  • Tents, tables or staking. No items can be affixed to any park infrastructure
